Suggestions for losing weight
Posted by John

I am trying to lose weight. Do you know of any QUALITY Palm OS PDA software
that will assist in this process? I once ran into a nice program that ran fine
and dany on my VIIx, but that was a month or two ago and I lost the website.
This particular package worked well on the Palm, but the developers suggested
purchasing their PC counterpart for updating food lists and so forth. I have a
Mac and their desktop software does not run on the Mac. The Nurse recommended
a website (http://www.fitday.com/WebFit/Index.html) where I can keep track of
my exercise and food consumption, but it would be tough to always log into this
website everyday as I am very busy running back and forth, so I think a PDA
package would better accompany my work.

Thanks,

John

If more and more people complained to the authorities about Steve Walz then he
may get the justice or the mental help he so desperately cries out for!

I know this isn't what you are after, but I would like to chime in, in an
effort to help. I used to use various PDA things, and try to track every
single thing I ate, and try this diet and that diet blah blah blah..
NOTHING worked out for me(believe me, i tried every electronic device, and
program there is, graphing workouts, etc etc etc, im a techie, what can i
say).. Let me tell you what worked for me..

Breakfast: fruit, rice milk(slow cook oats if you ahve time)
snack: piece of fruit
lunch: salad and protein source
snack: piece of fruit
dinner: salad and protein source
snack: nuts

I used to fell that if I didn't track things that I wouldn't be able to
succeed. But you have to make a lifestyle change.. After years of trying
to lose weight, I made the change. All organic foods, nothing from a box,
just healthy eating the way mother nature intended..

Don't track, just eat healthy...

Okay. I mostly drink non fat milk, and I try to stay away from sodas. However
I may have more work to do.

Should such a violent person be in a mental ward, behind bars or roaming
Newsgroups?

You may also consider visiting a local weight watchers center.. Yeah i've
been, and yeah its mostly 60+ year old ladies.. However I think it is still
a great support method and the new weight watchers plan doesn't teach
counting it teaches lifestyle. To change to not worrying about how much you
eat, but eating healthy items.. Don't do the online one though, its awful.
