- Speakers near head dangerous?
- Posted by Xerxes409
Quick question:
Can working speakers near someone's head for a long period of time be
dangerous? When I go to sleep, I frequently have white noise or "fuzz"
playing on small (computer-style) speakers very close to my head.
Could this be harmful, or am I just being paranoid?

It's not healthy to have constant noise while you sleep. Your ears need a
break too.

Your brain, as you know i assume, works using tiny electronic signals. place
a magnet near them for a long time, like a speaker, and who knows what it'll
do. probabl;y worth moving the speakers, just to be sure. Simon

Many studies show that cell phone use -- which emits electro-MAGNETIC
radiation cause tumors in the brain. Studies also have shown that
electromagnetic radiation from electric power lines cause cancer in people
living under them.
So why not the magnetism from speakers?
