It seems hardly a day goes by without there being a posting essentially
advertising some "miracle pill" for losing weight. What's wrong with just
eating a sensible diet, eating in moderation, and ensuring that each day
includes a bit of exercise?

There is nothing wrong with what you suggested. However, today we live in a
fast paced environment where we are exercising less and eating out more.
There will never be a miracle pill. But a diet pill can help people lose
weight...10-50 pounds without interrupting their usual habits. Some of these
pills suppress appetite where people then eat in moderation as you
suggested.
For those that eat fast food, consuming a fiber pill will inhibit some of
that fat calories from being absorbed and make you feel full much faster
preventing over eating. So pills can also act as a weight management tool.
If you can eat in moderation and exercise and get to your weight goal...just
stick to that. But a pill can definitely give you that extra push.

mlm scheme?
As opposed to what?
Your job pyramid scheme where you pay taxes in a another pyramid scheme
called social security?
If you have no desire to be your own boss, don't knock those that do.
