- Getting energy
- Posted by Peteris Krumins
Hello,
I am interested how to preserve as much energy
in the body as possible.
I have to wake up at 7am, school from
8am to 3pm, then work from 3:30pm to 9pm (not
physical, it's programming (lots of thinking)),
finaly i am at home at 9:30pm, have to do
homework for the next day (school) and something
else i am interested in (tv, books etc.).
Its 2 or 3am when i go to bed.
So i am up almost 20 hours a day and most of
the time thinking (studying at school, programming,
doing homework, reading a book etc.)
I have enough energy in Monday and Tuesday (since
i sleep almost the whole Saturday and Sunday),
in Wednesday i sleep at lessons and
in Thursday and Friday i sleep everywhere -
school, work, tram. This is not good since
i cant waste so much time sleeping, i am
always busy.
Today i bought 'Carnitin Plus' some kind of
pills which are full of vitamins and other
stuff to keep body full of energy.
Is it ok to use such pills? I have heard
that if used too often, the body stops
taking all those vitamins from normal
food and expects the pills to be taken
more and more often. Is this true?
Also, please, if you know suggest me
a way not to get tired so quickly.
Thanks,
P.Krumins

There is no truth that taking vitamins will replace the food nutrients where
you will just end up taking supplements.
I have been taking supplements for over 13 years now.
I would suggest taking 100-200mg of panex ginseng a day.

My partner is going to school full time and works full time. He now is
"fighting " a cold. He's immune system is so shot theres not much fight
in him. MY suggestion is Carb's, protien, omega omega-3 and 6 essential
fatty acids!! You'll find this in plant food NOT meat. Eat whole fods to
ensure a complete balanc of nutritients.

One thing that used to help me, when i was working shitloads of overtime,
was to visualize everything in your body relaxing. Just start from the
bottom
up. It only takes a minute and, That way the short nap you get on the tram
is more productive.
If your dead tired but can't sleep right then, you can just imagine
everything going to sleep up to your neck. So that that your arms, legs.
ect feel heavy and very relaxed, while your mind is still as awake as it
was.
Another quick trick is to visualize
all the energy that you have ever expended and that has ever been
taken from u, and then see it all flowing back into you.
It only takes a few seconds and its good for a short burst of energy.

Energy comes with a good night's sleep.
I've been in your shoes and almost had a
nervous breakdown when much yunger.
A good protein diet with your favorite
veggies such as Brocolli will help. NEVER
mix Meat and starch (potatoes, bread, etc)
To get a GOOD 6 hrs of sleep and STOP
aging in its tracks, take 1 mg of Melatonin
which is naturally produced in the body to
produce Seratonin, the SLEEP "hormone"
that all Humans produce to sleep. An extra
Boost will keep you younger longer and
give you a natural sleep as well as boosting
your NATURAL sex hormones as well.
It;s simply an healthy thing to do. LOL!
