Anyone have an opinion on the health benefits-or lack of health benefits- of
Coconut Oil?

I bought into it. It sounded good. I don't think it helped weight loss.
Buying the "pure" coconut oil was expensive ($23 a jar) and doesn't taste as
good as the under $4 version from Wal Mart.
I don't think I lost weight using it, and it didn't seem to do me any harm
either. People allergic to coconut and other nuts would do well to stay away
from it, though.
