Smog pump / air pump

I have an 86 PU with a 22R and it does not seem to have a Smog Pump. I've seen some CATs with a fitting on the side, but rarely used. "The Reverend Natural Light" <reverend@fourthgen.org> wrote in message news:fd2e73b2-a687-4b08-b448-ff136a80583e@k2g2000hse.googlegroups.com...

2000 Trunda Factory Hitch Class

SBC wrote: I can't remember ever owning a hitch that didn't have a weight limit stamped on it. Not written as "class", but "Max Load 5000, Max Tongue Weight 400..." It's usually in a place where someone connecting a trailer can clearly see it, not hidden. The stamping on mine was either near the electrical connector or where the safety chains attach.

Jump voltage to the appropriate connections to drive the motor in high and low. If high doesn't work, it is a wiper motor problem. If it does, it is a switch or wiring problem. I would then go to the switch connector and see if the switch is putting the correct voltage on the relevant connections. If no, it is a switch problem. If yes, there is a bad connection...

Engine mount was a reasonable suspect. Also fuel injectors, fuel filter (restriction), plugs, plug wires, valve clearance, timing. Just some thoughts. On Feb 25, 5:34 pm, dan.lacr...@gmail.com wrote:

Tundra had a tough month, but Toyota's not concerned
Posted on 02-22-2008 | 4 Comments

Face it, the Tundra is an also ran in the competition for sales of full size trucks. At best they have 5% of the truck market while Dodge sales are in the upper twenties and both GM and Ford are well in to the thirties "B A R R Y" <beech23pilot@yahoo.com> wrote in message news:Urzvj.7327$Ru4.4706@newssvr19.news.prodigy.net...

The engine goes back to the T100 of which I have a 1994 so it's been around a while. The 94 is rated at 150 without variable valve timing. No electronic throttle, either but it keeps up with everything at 20 mpg around town, 25+ on the freeway. AC question?
Posted on 02-18-2008 | 24 Comments

Changing to R134a is easy. Drain the oil from the used parts, Compressor, Evaporator and Condenser. If your hoses are in good shape, they are reusable. Pull the valve cores from the fill fittings and screw on the R134a fill fittings, They should be steel R134a fittings, not the cheap walmart stuff. Your R134a Retro kit will come with ester oil. Add the proper amount called for that compressor to the compressor. IBuy a NEW Drier. Replace all the o-rings on the fittings with new ones from the...

2000 Tundra trailer wiring

This connector will work fine for the lights but does not include a hookup for brakes. I had to pay extra to have the wiring brought back for brakes and to charge the trailer battery. I had an automotive electrical shop do the work. "Charles" <bridgescharles@hughes.net> wrote in message news:fnnn1d$t7t$1@aioe.org...

2008 prerunner oil change
Posted on 02-13-2008 | 5 Comments

Toyota's web site has a free service schedule. Just enter your year, model, and mileage and out pops the needed service items. In 2004, Toyota lowered the oil service interval from 7500 miles down to 5000 miles because of sludge concerns, while GM and Honda press for 12,000 miles. Go figure. I never thought 22RE had any sludge problems, but the cylinder head temperature may have been cranked up for lower emissions. "Oil change? Recommendations offered by automakers":
