i have a 2000 4runner. i have noticed a decrease in power and the idle
is rough. the check engine light is on and it is giving the P0300 and
P0301 code which is random/multiple cylinder misfire and cylinder 1
misfire. i have replaced the spark plugs and switched the coil packs
from #1-2 and nothing has changed. also if i unplug the number 1 fuel
injector, nothing changes....unplug # 2 and the idle drops. also, if i
plug in the #1 wire into #2 then it runs the same. i also have tried
swapping the #1 and #2 fuel injectors and that didn't help.....as you
probably can tell, i am totally stumped...the next thing i'm going to
check is the compression. but if anyone has any ideas as to what this
might be....it would be greatly appreciated
