hubcap recommendation for 15" wheels ?
Posted on 10-24-2008 | 1 Comments

You can find them on various parts websites. For example, rockauto.com has "reconditioned" OEM cap for $29.99+shipping: http://info.rockauto.com/Transwheel/Detail.html?TQ68ZW9185F For the same price, Amazon has them new, but without the toyota logo. Correct P/N for 1999 Avalon Calif Bank 1/ Sensor 1 (Rear Bank A/FUpstream Sensor)
Posted on 10-22-2008 | 1 Comments

Rockauto.com seems to list one part number for both banks. Denso Aftermarket is the only brand that still has two numbers, but these two look identical (maybe a generic picture). Since Denso is the only sensor for this application (the others rebox the Denso), just get two Densos. #8946741011 FRONT Passenger Side; Calif 8946741020, 8946741021 FRONT Driver Side; Calif

uses for seal packing?

That should hold it for a while. Most valve covers without stoppers (or little standoffs) would benefit. This design is not ideal. Because the large spark plug tube seals compress easily and you lose clamping force. Most shops won't bother waiting 30 min. and retorque. That's why I say, for example, the Honda design is much better.

Ok, then it's probably the malfunctioning brake switch didn't activate the *shift lever* interlock. Brake lights probably didn't work then? Can be dangerous. On Oct 15, 10:31*am, "RD" <dosvader2...@hotmail.com> wrote:

I suspect the original fill in the PS system is NOT Dexron ATF. Toyota probably used some standard PS fluid. Since Dexron III has a severe service life of about 30K miles, do flush it every 2 years/30K miles. Should help the PS system. You can do repeated changes in the reservoir. Like every oil change or everyother change. Just takes longer. Takes more fluid and changes, because you mix new and old. Works too. Done that.

Heated mirrors on 95-96 camry?
Posted on 10-17-2008 | 1 Comments

1996 Lexus ES has them, however, rockauto.com doesn't list them for the Camry. So there may be minor differences in the mount and electrical circuit for the heater. So the ES is the Camry with *different* sheet metals.
