Well, ATF and strainer change is usually the first thing you do when a transmission starts to act up. However, if the problem is with the valve bodies, then it will depend on how bad things are sticking (that's why it helps with regular ATF/strainer change). If the problem is with bad shift solenoids, then obviously replacing them is the only option. Then you can decide if you just...

A strut is a structural component of the front suspension. If the play is from the strut and not from the ball joints then you should get it replaced. Most pistons are made of metal and shouldn't have this problem. But old parts break. Get the Monroe QuickStrut. You'll also need new mounts and rubber parts (boots, strut bumpers). It's worth buying the whole assembly.

Cardone Selects are new halfshafts with lifetime warranty (check the parts store you buy them from). So why not? Also replace the axle seal while at it. Sure, the bushings too. Good time to check ball joint and other control arm bushings as well. I both repack and use new. You'll save some money but takes more time to repack. On Jul 23, 6:38*pm, pwich...@hotmail.com wrote:

Yeah, don't torque with load on the wheels, at least before reaching 60 lb/ft. That puts "side-loads" on them. Better yet, avoid even partial loads until reaching 60 lb/ft. On Jul 19, 12:03*am, Built_Well <Built_Well_Toy...@hotmail.com> wrote:

The defective 97-01 Toyota front mounts would make noises during these situations. The 02-06 the rears mounts were noisy. That's why some people suggest Monroe QuickStrut that includes all new components. I personally don't like the SensaTracs (went with Gabriel Ultras) but others are fine with them. Toyota installed cheap springs in the rears on 4 cyls. So these sag by design. Maybe QuickStruts will fix them. Your current struts should have lifetime warranty from Toyota if they

Retired VIP, the price of the red-dyed off-road diesel is $4.52/gallon, only 15 cents cheaper than the highway #2 diesel ($4.67). You probably know the highway diesel is ultra-low sulfur, 15 ppm max. The off-road diesel pump said it may exceed 500 ppm.
