94 Celica GT alarm
Posted on 06-30-2003 | 4 Comments

My son just bought a very sweet 94 Celica GT he is just beaming, it's his first car and has saved up working long hrs at the DQ. The question I had is how to turn off the passive alarm as the horn is always going off. I have a 99 Tacoma and has a RS 3000 alarm but this is different only one button. Does anyone know what series alarm this might be? The key bob is light blue with a Toyota logo on it. And how to you get it out of the passive mode. Thanks Will

Also, would be intrested to know how many miles other owners have got with their Camrys. What is the highest mileage you have seen with a Camry?

My local Toyota Service Writer told me he had a gal in a Sienna come in with the check engine light lit. He went to the computer and found no oil changes. He asked her if she had her oil changed elsewhere. She replied....'No'. The Sienna has 30,000 miles on it...with no oil changes.

Toyota Matrix... opinions wanted

I lusted after a Matrix ever since they were announced - I watched the web site anxiously, and when it was time to buy a new car, it was the first I test drove. I actually cut the drive short because the instrument panel hurt my eyes so much. Bought a 2wd Rav4 instead. Timing Light Problem On Spark Plug 1
Posted on 06-28-2003 | 3 Comments

I have the kind of timing light that has a spark pick-up unit that clips around any spark plug wire. When the spark pick-up unit is clipped to wires 2, 3, or 4 the timing light works perfectly. When the timing light is hooked up to wire 1, sometimes the timing light works, sometimes it works intermittently, and sometimes it has no light at all. This is a problem because wire 1 is needed to check and set the timing. I swapped spark plug 1 and wire 1 with spark plug 2 and wire 2. The...
