Radio/CD 2002 Highlander

Keep getting it replaced under warranty and get an extended warranty from Toyota on it while you are at it. Then buy a new stereo at www.bought4less.com and use it till trade in time, then return the OE radio back into the dash, it will still be new. the radio is wired to operate through the ignition switch, you could re-wire it, not a difficult job if you know what your doing. just find the wire that has a positive feed while ignition is on only and connect to a permanent live feed (through a fuse of course) "Michael" <miket1@telkomsa.net> wrote in message news:bogujh$ag2$1@ctb-nnrp2.saix.net...

1987 celica timing belt replacement
Posted on 11-09-2003 | 2 Comments

the only problem you may come across is removing the crankshaft pulley bolt. these are extremely tight and best undone using an air imapct wrench or simmilar. try to undo or loosen this bolt first so you know you wont get stuck.........apart from that go for it, take your time, and you should be ok. Hows the timing? Timing belt may be loose or may have slipped. With 85k it may be due for a change anyway. Bush <Bushleague@excite.com> wrote in message news:<oi3jqv0lhii5v2rjngc2muar7osr75neqc@4ax.com>...

No they don't. But the 2003 RAV4 Chilli Edition (Canada) has a nice MP3 player from the factory. Future Shop - $299 - pop it in and you'reoff. <noyb> wrote in message news:07cnqvoi4ffmqmk8fd2r1818agfr97mja0@4ax.com...

1994 Carmry broken flex pipe ?
Posted on 11-08-2003 | 1 Comments

I have experience in fixing this.... unfortunately the flex pipes for a V6, are all one big exhaust unit. Toyota Dealer - $450 and change for the whole piece from the engine to the catalytic. What I did: went to a Custom Exhaust shop and had him weld in a new flex pipe piece - $160. It is stainless steel and as good as new.
