The small green lamp in the centre of the AC on/off switch occasionaly
starts flashing on /off. Switching the switch off and on seems to clear the
problem. Any idea's as to cause ?. System is four years old and works ok
otherwise.

Check the freon level. It could be just low enough to cause the compressor
to switch off, then on.
