Thank Goodness for AF
Posted by Dana Carpender

I was watching HSN earlier, and the rather scary looking but oddly
compelling Adrian Arpel was on, with a *HUGE* set of skin care stuff for
$55. I was tempted, but I googled AF comments on her line first, and
decided I really could do better. Y'all spared me a needless expense, and
now I can go spend that money on something I'll like better. Suggestions?

Well, she has longevity, that's for sure. I remember her when I was a
child.

For moderately priced products, lots of people like the Dove line, Regenerist,
Dr. Pickart's copper peptide serum (skin logic?),. Tazorac or Retin A, and
various healthfood store products. Higher prices choices are TNS, Strivectin
and the dermatologist lines like Skinmedica.

I suggest you go to a Whole Foods and play with the testers. I was there
today and really liked the Kiss My Face Organics line (available in a kit),
the Avalon Organics CoQ10 line, and a product by Desert Essence called
something like Time Reversal.

You might want to do what I do and boost drugstore products with capsules of
green tea, DMAE and l-ascorbic acid powder.

Haven't tried Dove yet, hated the sample of Regenerist I tried, but I LOVE Skin
Bio products. You can actually see a difference with his products. It's
amazing. The price points are low, especially compared to Osmotics.

I'm also quite fond of Osmotics Kinetin. I tried a sample and was very
impressed with it.
