those...but as far as making your polish last i bought this awesome "polish
sealer" from Sally's that i used as a base and top coat with my fav polishes
(i like Creative, OPI and Sally hansen) and it DIDN'T CHIP AT ALL!! it wears
away a little at the tips at the most. the only time it started chipping was
when my nails grew, near the cuticle.
i cant think of the brand, but it is a clear polish, and it came in a red
box. it was called polish sealer. don't make the mistake i made and get the
chip skip by OPI...it's just a nail dehydrator.

Wow, I'm impressed that you can grow your nails so long. Mine
usually break a few days after they peep out over my finger tips.
They're currently about 2 mm past the tips and that's usually about
as long as they get before I need to cut them all short to match the
broken one. Then I also go back to using clear.

When I hit my mid-30's something happened in my body chemistry or something.
Prior to that, I couldn't grow a nail to save my life. Must be hormonal

For me it's hands down OPI. I've used them exclusively for about 3 years now
and will never leave them
.
One caveat though - I always always always use OPI Nail Envy before I polish my
nails. In fact, if I'm feeling lazy I use just Nail Envy until I get around to
polishing them. My polish stays on until I get sick of it and want to change
it. I have so many different colors that I often spend 5 minutes just trying
to decide which color to use this time!
I also top my polish with Seche Vite quick drying top coat while the polish is
still wet. They dry in a flash and are hard as a rock.

Definitely the Revlon Colorstay. No touching up needed and the shine is great.
In other polishes, just about anything topped with Seche Vite.

I'd "ditto" pretty much your whole post! I don't use OPI polishes
exclusively, but I do have many of theirs. Like you, I also use Nail
Envy as a base coat, every time, and Seche Vite topcoat, every time.
That's what makes the polish last, IMHO, cause without those steps, even
OPI would chip off my nails within a couple days.
In addition to OPI, I like polishes from Urban Decay, Essie, Tony &
Tina, Stila, and China Glaze, and have some various other brands in the
stash as well. Also, like you, I have a lot of polishes and usually have
a devil of a time deciding which to use. I often spend longer selecting
a color than it takes to actually put it on!

I'm now in my mid forties. I don't seem to be able to grow my nails
long. They're doing well at the moment. Must file tonight.

Seche Vite. It's the most wonderful clear topcoat for nail polish ever
introduced to the world (IMHO). It dries polish faster than anything
I've seen, and leaves nails super-glossy. It is absolutely awesome and I
don't know how I ever did without it, and I'd be lost without it if they
took it off the market. I can't imagine one reason why everyone who
wears nail polish *doesn't* use it, it's that good. I find it at a local
beauty supply shop.

Lucky you. I am in my mid forties and my nails chipped as I looked through
clothes today. I am taking MSM, so we'll see if that helps.

I would have to give my vote to Essie but maybe it is because one of the
nail techs in my spa did my manicure. I have very fragile nails but this
manicure lasted a week without a chip. The color was Fancy Delancey.

Hi Evelyn --
I've found that Stila's "Cybele" is very long-lasting. Also *really*
pretty.
Hmm. I think I'll go put some on!
