Pretty Nails poilsh remover in the jar is wonderful. It has a sponge
inside and you just insert your fingers to gently remove polish. I
haven't gone back to the cotton/tissue and bottle method since I
discovered this.

A few tidbits from the nail care book "Style on Hand":
Use 100% cotton balls to remove polish, preferably the smaller sized cotton balls.
1. Wet the cotton ball with remover but don't saturate.
2. Place cotton ball on the fingernail, then wipe away from the nail.
Do not go back and forth, or you will get polish in the cuticles.
Confetti and other glitter polishes are very difficult to remove.
Pour remover into its cap and soak each nail individually until the
polish softens. Then wet a cotton ball and remove.
3. After you're done, always rinse nails in warm water to
wash off any nail polish remover residue. Then moisturize.
