Forze nail plastic coating?
Posted by VeraAloe

Has anyone heard of this polycrylic product? It's a plastic-like coating
brushed over your natural nails to protec them so they'll grow. You have them
filled every two weeks. It doesn't damage the nail.

I've had it done at a salon (costs me $40 every other week) but am thinking of
purchasing the kit for $97 so I can do it at home. Anyone have experience with
this?

Not exactly that, but it sounds kind of similar to an acrylic gel
product Kiss makes, or used to make. It looked more or less like a shiny
clear polish when you put it on. I can't recall if there was one step,
or two. It was hard to remove, though, like acrylic nails are (though
not quite *that* difficult to get off). I used it for a short time and
then decided it was more trouble than it was worth because it wasn't
just something I could take off with polish remover and reapply when I
wanted to re-do it.

Don't know if Kiss still makes this stuff or not and I don't recall what
it was called. It's been probably 8 years or so since I tried it, so who
knows. I just stick with Nail Envy these days.

When you get this done at the salon, how do they apply it? Is it a
multi-step process? I'm trying to figure out how different it may be
from regular acrylic nails. $97 sounds really expensive - what is
included in the kit?
