Thanks for all the commentary; here's an update for you all: I went to a local Honda Dealership, and they have a "brand new, zero-mile" 2003 Civic DX coupe, with AT & FULL WTY (wty doesn't start till the car is registered). It's their last 2003 in stock, and they've priced it at $15990 CDN. One year ago list was $18110 (I saw the invoice this afternoon.)! It is pretty bare-bones however: no AC, CD,cruise, etc "Caroline" <caroline10027remove@earthlink.net> wrote in...

If you undercoat a dirty under carriage, you are trapping dirt under the undercoat, causeing a bigger problem. How old is this car? At this point all you can do is a search for a rust inhibitor, that can be sprayed on after the undercarriage has been cleaned and wash the salt off as much as possible in the winter. Tom

I replaced my dash light on my civic 93 one year ago. I first went to a local car parts dealer. He said he didn't had bulbs that could replace the one that honda used. He also said that honda whas the onley supplier for the specified bulb. The local honda dealer wanted to charge me ?15.- for a bulb, so i went out "experimenting" with other bulbs en found out that the you kan pull the bulb out off the (braun / black) socket en simply can replace the bulb with another bulb that you can by at...

Hi, I had a similar problem. When my car was warm between 2000-3000 rpm the car started to misfire and fluctuate up and down. I had to drive my car past 3000 for it to be drivable. I took it to the auto electrician and he rebuilt my distributor, and put a new power relay. Now its fine. Sorry, forgot one more possibility. Altho less likely, but still a possibility. When was the last time you checked your front breaks? One of them (that is, your left one) might be dragging slightly, although you should be noticing that at lower speeds too..... I have seen a few different cases at the local tire store. One was where front tires were different width ratios. Another case where one wheel's rotor was warped. Need details. Have you checked the axels or the suspensions? Have you checked your front right axel? Another area may be the suspensions.
