might want to check the NHTSA website for consumer complaints, I believe
there are some tranny issues posted.

Your problem sounds just like mine. My 2003 Accord V6 has made a
grinding noise when cold and at about the 1st to 2nd gear shift point
since it was new (now 9000 miles). I can even feel the brief grinding
in the gas pedal. I complained once but just got a blank stare from the
dealer. I been too busy this year to followup. It only does it once
after setting. It usually occurs when cold. Did you ever get it
fixed? What is it?
