Dear Colleagues and List Members:

Please note that the deadline for voting is this coming Wednesday.
Please make sure you vote. ISAC is a highly democratic organization
so
its run by the people you elect.

I am pleased to see discussion on this list of candidates. I
encourage
this because it is directly related to our role as scientists and
also
managers of the good will of our Society. The politics of science is
actually a very important aspect of our lives - particularly when we
need to spend some significant time working on our various
legislators
to ensure adequate funding for science. Unfortunately, 2 out of 3
members of this list, have not chosen to join ISAC. Please consider
joining so you can participate in and contribute to the Society.

When I was elected as president-elect now 4 years ago (feels like 10),
I
actively used the web and canvased many of you to consider voting. I
was
asked by many candidates if I would endorse them this time, but I
chose
not to publicly endorse or criticize anyone. There are a terrific
group
of candidates, any of them will do a great job. I will be honored to
continue to serve as past-president after May 20, with any of the
candidates.

Just remember to vote!

Wednesday....the poll closes!

Regards and may the best people win!

Paul Robinson
President, ISAC
