- Positive because we say so

Here’s how the CDC puts it:
“The likelihood that a positive screening test truly indicates the
presence of HIV infection decreases as HIV prevalence in the tested
population becomes lower.
Therefore, false-positive HIV test results are more likely in settings
where the tested population prevalence is lower than in settings where the
tested population prevalence is higher.” (CDC: “Revised Guidelines for HIV
Counseling, Testing, and Referral” November 9, 2001)
*
In other words – your actual test is less meaningful than the assumed
prevalence of HIV positivity in the group the CDC believes you belong to.

i think the do!
i still not understand, the tests! the put a bunck of "hiv"-proteine in a
test kid! they say all belong to "hiv".
but if one or two/three proteins reacts it is not a positief, if more
react they say it will be a positief!
that i do not understand! if all these proteins are a sign of "hiv". then
if only one reacts that would mean your postief!
so why is one ,not positief and four your positief!
that what i understand now! maybe i have read or not understand it!

That's right you don't understand and have not undertaken the effort
required to gain an understanding of the science involved in all of your
questions about HIV and AIDS.
You read the pseudo scientific crap put out by the dissidents and because
this information feeds your preconceived ideas you treat them as credible.
Your not searching for answers your searching for people to agree with the
decision you've already made.

no, gary
....Your not searching for answers your searching for people to agree with
the decision you've already made.
i havent maid a decision! but yes i look for people to agree with! because
it is not all crap what "dissident' scientis/docters are saying!
after many years they stil dont know much! and still it doesnt say much if
the test turnsout positief, it lies with the docters assumption if your
positief or not! because if the docter think it might be a false positief!
so your test could be positief, but you dont have any symptoms or disease,
so the docter can assume it could be a false -positief! but it can be a
real positief! he cant say only by looking at the test!

Yes, you have. Otherwise, you'd be paying attention to both sides,
rather than just challenging the orthodoxy.
If you haven't made up your mind, it is also not be all crap that the
orthodoxy is saying.
If you hadn't (notice the tense change) made up your mind, you would
take in the answers to your questions from the orthodoxy and further
refine them, rather than repeating the same things over and over again
from the dissidents--even after they've been disproved.
