Excuse the pun, but it's difficult to argue there isn't a glut of fatties. Gays, niggers and redknecks also have support groups. And don't forget the largest support groups in existence: religions. Hardly unusual.

You should always keep in mind that whatever actions you do today can either help to prevent, delay or minimize the effect of heart disease or worsen it. The key is to control risk factors. Granted that you cannot control every risk factor for heart disease such as family history but you can definitely do something about your behavior. Age and gender also influence your risk of heart disease. for more details please...

The idea is good but this implementation won't work because the stupid gadget doesn't monitor the pill actually being ingested by the AIDS or TB patient, all it does is record that a pill was removed from the box at a certain time. A much smarter idea would be to put the HIV or TB patient in a box and upload a report to the Web if the patient escapes from the box.

I thought that was obvious. I was pointing out that Italy was foresighted enough to allow people with AIDS to solve their own financial problems. I suspect that particular little quirk in Italian law was quickly amended when it was noticed that people with AIDS weren't about to drop dead. Perhaps you should be pushing for the US to adopt a similar lenient

Martin, And you're going to be seeing a lot MORE of this type of article in the future. It truly IS the HIV theory that is dying--not the people who've been told they're infected with a non-existent virus. I read about the controversy over the HIV theory back in 2004--about the time the whole fiasco over the weapons of mass destruction was starting to come out.
