W.H.O confiorms drugs kill
Posted on 07-12-2004 | 6 Comments

The article cites people dying of AIDS drug toxicities, then laments that enough people won't be able to get the drugs. Is that a logical problem? Not for the World Health Organization... It's also worth noting that people have "undetectable levels of virus" in their blood, even as they're dying of drug toxicity. Which is worse, a result with a non-specific, non-reproducible genetic test,,, or death? Again, not a problem for the WHO. (from the text)

Is AIDS a New Disease?
Posted on 07-11-2004 | 9 Comments

Is AIDS a New Disease? Contrary to popular belief, AIDS is not new and is not a disease. AIDS is a new name given by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) to a collection of 29 familiar illnesses and conditions including yeast infection, herpes, diarrhea, some pneumonias, certain cancers, salmonella, and tuberculosis. (1) These illnesses are called AIDS only when they occur in a person who also has protective disease fighting proteins or antibodies that are thought to be associated with HIV.

Why do studies and ignore the findings?

It is often claimed that HIV can spread heterosexually in Africa because of the alleged widespread presence of other STD's. Well guess again. To quote from this article: Monthly prophylactic treatment of female sex workers in Kenya with the antibiotic azithromycin fails to reduce the incidence of HIV-1 infection despite reducing the incidence of other sexually transmitted infections (STIs) -- Ed

Is AIDS Devastating Africa?
Posted on 07-10-2004 | 4 Comments

Is AIDS Devastating Africa? According to the 1999 World Health Organization (WHO) report, the total number of actual diagnosed AIDS cases on the African continent is about equal to the total for AIDS in America even though Africa, with its 650 million people, has more than two times the population of the USA. (61) Africa is often cited as a worst case example of what could happen in America despite figures that demonstrate that 99.5% of Africans do not have AIDS, and among Africans who test...

HIV Testing Window
Posted on 07-10-2004 | 1 Comments

From The CDC The tests commonly used to detect HIV infection are actually looking for antibodies produced by an individual's immune system when they are exposed to HIV. Most people will develop detectable antibodies within two to eight weeks (the average is 25 days). Ninety seven percent will develop antibodies in the first three months following the time of their infection. In very rare cases, it can take up to six months to develop antibodies to HIV.

Symptoms. How fast can they show up?

Sorry for bothering you guys with my silly question. But i'm at a stage I think all gay guys go through and that's beinging paraniod. How fast 'can' symptoms, if any, show up? Last Saturday, I went down on a guy and about 3 days later got this sore throat that only hurts when I swallow. Webmd.com says that it may be an 'oral yeast infection' but I doubt that because I don't have any white patches in my mouth or throat. It

Revised world numbers from UNAIDS
Posted on 07-09-2004 | 4 Comments

Although the HIV figures in Tuesday's UNAIDS report represent a reduction in the estimate of people infected worldwide, experts said the epidemic continues to expand and kill at a record rate. Previously, worldwide HIV infections were estimated at 40 million: The new report gives that figure as 38 million. Even so, the epidemic's impact last year dwarfed previous years: HIV killed 3 million people, and infected another 4.8 million. UNAIDS Deputy Director Kathleen Cravero called the situation "a

Myth of 'AIDS' in Africa
Posted on 07-08-2004 | 4 Comments

I received this through the FAIR Foundation newsletter. * This is amazing stuff - and loads and loads of ammo to work with. Finally, the fact that these huge estimates are just ploys to get more funding.*Is this the long*awaited*CDC*return of fire*against the WHO/UNAIDS? "Two US health officials working on AIDS... speaking on condition of anonymity... " It doesn't take much to read between the lines. I guess the WHO/UNAIDS finally have a worthy adversary on their hands. * Read it all at the...

UN Global AIDS Report
Posted on 07-08-2004 | 5 Comments

The HIV pandemic is not diminishing. Estimates may be high...in some places, though, they may be low. The differences are hard to tell but one thing is clear: this is the biggest disaster to hit humanity since the Black Plague. Even that step-n-fetchit jackass Colon Piles could see that! But spend a decent amount on it? No--much rather bungle a horrible, illegal war in Iraq, murder lots of people, squander global good will and enormous amounts of resources as well as support trade agreements...

Haart shown to cause warts
Posted on 07-08-2004 | 5 Comments

Highly active antiretroviral therapy may increase a patient's risk of developing oral warts, according to a study conducted by researchers at the University of California-San Francisco and published in the current issue of the Lancet. Dr. Deborah Greenspan and colleagues retrospectively studied 1,280 patients at an HIV dental clinic between July 1990 and June 1999 and found a three-fold increase in oral warts among patients taking antiretroviral therapy excluding protease inhibitors and a...

Infection Due to Unprotected Sex
Posted on 07-08-2004 | 6 Comments

I read several years ago, but have seen no follow up, that those who are HIV+ and are on HAART, and who have unprotected sex with other HIV+ individuals on HAART, can become resistant to the HAART of each other. Is this true? Kind regards, _____________________ D. Stephen Heersink San Francisco

The fear of losing 'HIV'
Posted on 07-07-2004 | 2 Comments

THE FEAR OF LOSING HIV By Bob Findle What? Is that headline a typo? Shouldn’t it be "Fear of Getting HIV?" No. We do not need another article about the fear of getting HIV. We understand that fear. It has been skillfully and unrelentingly marketed to us by the HIV/AIDS industry until HIV=AIDS=DEATH is accepted without question, without proof, and obvious contradictions brushed aside without regard.
