A long time ago, my dentist gave me some free samples of this really neat gel (red) that you apply to sores on your inner lip. The gel clots up (protein clot) and basically forms a skin-like layer over the sore making your mouth pain free and flexible again for like 12 hours. It was great stuff and i used it all up.
