If Malaria is so good at causing false positive results, explain the following (the second paper is from the list of references supposedly SUPPORTING the role of malaria in causing false-positive results. I have seen some more convincing papers, but fundamentally once you start screening the blood donations used in treating the anaemia in malaria, the rate of positive HIV tests drops - almost as if you're preventing transmission of HIV ;-) Cheers
