There has been the assumptium in both scientific and lay communities that
vaginal HIV transmission does commonly exists, [...] the basis for that
assumption rests on data that are unacceptably weak or flawed.
The need for sexual change that has been claimed by public health and
other authorities is not supported by the scientific data

Stuart Brody, Professor of Medical Psychology at the University of
Tübingen, Germany, also wrote Sex at risk, Transaction Publishers, 1997,

The Myth of Heterosexual AIDS, it exposes the mythology surrounding
vaginal intercourse and AIDS transmission.
