HRT - Alternative Natural Products
The news reporters seem to offer two alternatives either take HRT with
possible risks or stop and suffer hot flushes etc. No-one seems to be
mentioning the natural alternatives.

The front pages of the newspapers, there is a huge scare once again
about taking HRT. Quotes from the newspapers are below, then details
on safe natural alternatives. Please read it and feel free to print

Recent newspapers
The Times 'The study by the Medical Research Council and Cancer
Research UK,
investigated more than one million women, half of whom had used HRT.
The largest study of its kind has found that, over the past decade,
HRT has been responsible for 20,000 extra cases of Breast Cancer in
Britain. The study published by the medical journal Lancet, showed
that if a woman
stopped HRT, the risk of developing cancer dropped back to that of
non-users
within a few years.'
The Daily Mail, 'HRT can double the risk of Breast Cancer. A massive
British
study of a million women found the risk of cancer can be twice as high
for
those taking the most common form of HRT for ten years. Government
experts are now issuing an alert to GPs and hospitals over the
treatment which is being blamed for 20,000 cancer cases in the past
ten years.'
The Guardian, 'An unprecedented study of the medical histories of
nearly
1.1m British women who were cancer-free as they entered the national
screening programme revealed that those on some types of HRT were
twice as likely to develop breast cancer as those who had not used it.
The so called
Million Women Study, of whom about half used HRT, also indicated for
the first time that the increased risk started between one and two
years after use, dashing any suggestions that increased cancer risk
only developed after
long-term use. But the risks grew larger the longer the HRT treatment
continued.'
There are natural products which really help many people who have come
off HRT using these products with great success. Both products can be
