Get rid of a cold quickly
Posted by Sue Bailey

Hi

Recent studies at the University of South Carolina in Columbia (USCC)
found that people who had a moderate to high level of physical
activity experienced 25% fewer colds than those whose daily activities
were relatively low. And for some reason, during autumn months that
number jumped to 32% fewer upper respiratory infections. In general,
these benefits were slightly more pronounced among the men.

Here are just some ideas that can help

* Take a 30-minute walk a day, or even do some gardening. Mowing the
lawn or raking the leaves will be sufficient to keep a cold at bay.

* Echinacea with Goldenseal in water is exellent to boost your immune
system. Also a good Multi-Vit and maybe extra Vitamin C if needed.

* Plenty of fresh fruit and veggies

* Eat plenty of garlic in your food. Garlic is also very useful if you
are currently suffering from a cold and will aid your recovery process
quickly.

* If your child has a cold, wash their toys after they play with them.
It's easy for you to pick up germs if they are left lying around.

* If your colleagues have a cold then carry around antibacterial hand
wipes and make sure you use them repeatedly throughout the day. It's
important to keep your hands germ free. If your toilets don't offer
antibacterial soap then go out and buy some. For the sake of £1 you
could keep your body healthier this year.

Warm Wishes
Sue

Echinacea weakens most Blood type O people's immune system. The stuff makes
me sicker.

Ascorbic acid lowers my pH levels and makes my nervous system hurt and ping,
causes me tendonitis and bursitus.

Fruit causes my yeast levels to increase and results in my skin problems
getting worse. certain parts of my body then bleed and allow in other
infectious compounds.

Walking causes me too much impact on my degenerating disc and makes me
partially paralysed from the psiatic inflamation it causes.

Washing my hands dries out my skin and the fungus growing under my nails
gets much worse. I have to avoid that too frequently also.

What does blood type have to do with the immune system? Where did you get
this piece of nonsense? While I'm not convinced that Echinacea does much of
anything, this bald pseudoscientific statement of "fact" without any source
or substantiation lacks credibility.

Ascorbic acid lowers the pH of you urine. The pH of the rest of your body
remains unchanged by your intake of ascorbic acid. Your "hurt and ping" is
caused by something else. I'm not promoting the taking of abnormally high
doses of this vitamin, though.

Your body does not contain "yeast levels." Fungal infections are not caused
by eating fruit.

This may be true. Swimming or other exercise in a pool may be more
appropriate for you.

It sounds like time you got some professional help with your skin and nail
problems. An improvement in your diet might be appropriate. Instead of
avoiding fruits, you need to be getting good overall nutrition, allways the
first step in correcting skin problems.

Rich,

Gymmy Bob's responses were so preposterous that
