- Bottled Water in France?
- Posted by Brian Mailman
At long last I'm getting a real vacation, and I'll be in SE France next
month with 2-3 days in Paris.
Anybody have experienced with what bottled waters are safe (i.e.,
filtered to 1 micron or distilled)?

Any bottled water in France ought to be okay ;-) To be honest I mostly
drank coke or coffee while there, the occasional wine. Evian, Volvic,
that sort of thing.
Bon voyage mon ami ;-) J'espere que tu as un bon vacation, or something
like that.

OK, thanks. Here in San Francisco, Evian and Perrier aren't on the
'approved' list, and neither is Pellegrino. I was figuring on bottled
soda for non-alcoholic beverages while in Paris, and once I get to the
country I can boil a few quarts at a time.
Thanks! I have a friend who rents a villa for a month or so every year
and every year she's asked me to join her. This year she's 87 and there
may not be too many more opportunities and by coincidence for various
reasons I'm in possession of quite a number of frequent flyer miles
which will make it all affordable. Sort of.
