NOT A DOCTOR . I had horrible dull pain deep in kidney area .
I suspected a kidney stone .Went to Er of hospital and had urine tested for
presence of blood . No blood was found and intern doctor told me
that I don't have kidney stones .No pain killer was prescribed due to unknown
nature of my problem .Suffered like a dog for two weeks.
I was taking a pee when I heard a plink sound in the toilet .
I reached out and found a smooth stone about the size of sun
flower seed . Told doctor, ad he sent me for x-rays and ultra sound .
No additional stones were found . That was 15 years ago .
I learned that a urine test is not enough to detect kidney stones .
Walk softly and carry a big stick and people will call you a fag !

blacked out walking into the emergency room at 4AM. I never felt
