- Difficulty swallowing
- Posted by Ken Knecht
From time to time I have trouble swallowing liquids, like water.
When it happens I have to sip them very slowly. At first it was
only in the evenings, now it happens most any time. It's not a
constant problem, only currently about say 10% of the time.
Any way to reduce this problem?
Male and late 60s if it matters.

I read somewhere that difficulty swallowing can be due to Parkinson or
Myasthenia Gravis. Parkinson at the beginning produces stiffness in the
body. Myasthenia Gravis produces muscular weakness. Both of these are
well covered on the internet.
Regards!
