135-150 over anything *is* high blood pressure. Could be that after
years of damaging your cardivascular system with such high BP, you're
just now having symptoms (lots don't until the stroke or their kidneys
fail).

135 over anything is NOT high blood pressure. It is very slightly high. High
blood pressure is worth not when it reaches 160 over something. And the
lower reading is important, as it is the resting heart beat. It should not
be over 80 .
You have such a multiciplicity of symptoms! To deal with the vertigo,
dizziness...try a pinch of Ginger (the pumpkin spice in your kitchen
cupboard) to see if it will help. It was more effective in some studies than
some of the leading prescription drugs for vertigo.
Some of your symptoms lead me to think you have a yeast infection of the
bowel. This is when the yeast overgrows what should be normal to the bowel,
and if carbohydrates are eaten, the result is a high blood alcohol. Coming
off the alcoholic high would cause a severe headache. I'm not sure of the
cure, but taking Flora Source may help restore the normal bowel bacteria
(good bacteria!). The phone number, if you want to call to order it is:
800-914-6311 or email: www.nutri-health.com Flora Source is fairly
expensive (though not as much as a doctor visit these days!). One little
(powder, not capsules) bottle lasts quite a while.

Antifungal drugs, preferably ones that will stay in the gut when
they're taken orally.

I agree that Flora Source is quite expensive. By all means, I support the
idea of trying Yogurt and/or the less expensive supplement you have found
that contains three of the ingredients in the more powerful product. Since
you don't have an actual diagnosis, spending big money on a possible
(unproven) cure doesn't make too much sense. We keep it in our house because
of other health reasons. (Recovery from any antibiotic therapy is a big
one!) Also, I'd had a battle with Irritable Bowel Syndrome for a couple of
years before I found out I was reacting to gums in the diet. Getting off
gums has made a big difference. Flora Source is also a remedy for a
hangover, and although I don't have a problem with that, it is worth
knowing, as your symptoms sound very like a yeast infection of the bowel.
One thing that might point up (or prove, almost like a diagnosis of) yeast
overgrowth is: Eating carbohydrates brings on the dizziness and headache.

Well, your product is definitely better than just eating yogurt! I still
prefer Flora Source even though it is expensive, maybe because I already
have it on hand! It lasts pretty long in the refrigerator, so I'm keeping
it for future reference. One of the reasons I suggested yeast overgrowth as
your problem was that my symptoms reminded me of a Reader's Digest article
on that subject quite a long time ago. The fellow was feeling so sick and
reeling so bad I think he was arrested and put in a drunk tank (perhaps more
than once!) before discovering his illness. He concluded, I think, that
eating high carbohydrate foods made the problem worse. I don't remember much
more about the article or if he found a cure. It is probably more than 7
years ago I read it.
Those headaches deserve treatment. If you can handle over-the-counter
medicines at all, try any of the three biggies : Tylenol, Aspirin, and
Advil. I found Advil the most helpful, but I take one and then wait 10
minutes and then take the second one -- for really severe headaches. For
some reason the "one, two punch" works better than taking two at once. The
up side of that is : If you don't feel the headache after the first one, you
don't need the second pill.

I didn't touch on sleep apnea: Those "Breathe Right" strips cured my husband
of sleep apnea. If that is part of the picture, you could be suffering from
a whole host of things from that alone. Tiredness to the point of being
dizzy, high blood pressure, and lack of energy and inability to
concentrate... being the most obvious ones. If you wake up gasping for
breath, that is a sure sign of sleep apnea. He used to have sinus so bad
that he'd close his mouth in sleep and wait 26 seconds before gasping for
breath. I know how long because I stayed awake to be sure he was going to
take the next breath! This went on for years before I realized that it was
so dangerous to his health. About that time, we had him try the strips.
Complete change! He wore them for a couple of weeks. Now he sleeps fine
without them. It was like they trained him to sleep and breathe through his
nose. I know some people who have to have a positive pressure oxygen machine
to sleep with because of sleep apnea.
