- Looking for Help

sex: male
age: 31
weight: 185 lbs
height: 5'10"
activity level: average (I walk a lot, hike occasionaly, ride my bike
occasionally - I've generally always been somewhat active).
In the past ten years I've developed all sorts of problems. Visiting
various canadian drop-in clinics has gotten be diagnosed with all sorts
of things generally chronic and seemingly incurable. I really feel one
underlying thing is wrong and it is leading to my developing a variety
of other problems from a comprimsed immune system - or whatever.
The first problem I remember developing was a slight pain on my lower
left side - abdomen. I thought at the time it would be an ulcer of some
sort. It lasted weeks. I can't recally if I saw a doctor about it or
not, I do recally talking with a pharmacist who said talk to a doctor. I
beleive someone told me it was more likely gas.
Eventually the pain went away and I forgot about the problem. Around the
same time I recall a co-worker comenting on how I seemed to go to the
bathroom a lot. No idea if its related or not. I drank coffee and a lot
of water while working so I figured that explained/justified it.
The above may or may-not be related ultimately - but I want to give as
much information as possible.
I can not remember exactly what problem came next but over time I've
developed bad dandruff. Occasionally my entire scalp will be covered
with flaking hair - and flakes 1cm in size. The dandruff can be
prevented with keeping my hair short and using dandruff shampoo, but
will always come back if either of those factors aren't maintained.
Some time later (like several years) I began to develop more problems
related to urinating. I'd need to go frequently. Smell of my urine
seemed to get more pungeant and darker in color. It wasn't uncommon for
me to wake up, pee. Have a cup of coffee and then pee 2-3 more times
every few hours. On long road trips I'd need to pee every hour even if I
wasn't taking in fluids. I had to wonder where it was all coming from.
And I was embarassed because nobody else seemed to need to go this
often. Also after finishing urinating, I'd do up my pants and 9/10 a
second later I'd loose a bit more urine. This lead to all sorts of
attempts to make sure 'I was done' - but largely there was nothing I
could do to prevent this.
I saw a doctor about this. The doctor suspected Prostatitis and
prescribed anti biotics which I took. They didn't seem to do anything. I
researched this on the web a bit and it appears to be a chronic and
largely unsolvable problem again.
While visiting this doctor he also realized I had Gynaecomastia. I just
thought I was unfortunate enough to have my few extra pounds all
concentrated on my chest and stomach.
I also at one point was diagnosed by another doctor with irritable bowel
syndrome when I went into the doctor complaining about frequent
gas/bloating in the evenings and mornings. In the morning I'd wake up
with an ache in my lower back. Sort of felt like an ache related to
needing to urinate, but urinating didn't make it go away right away.
Within several hours the ache would be gone. I went on some prescription
for IBS but never saw dramtic results (any that I could tell) so I gave
up on the IBS.
Now I will get into another problem developing during this whole time.
I'd begun to develop anxiety - especially related to other people, even
friends. I went to one party. I got so nervous my stomach got upset and
I began sweating heavily. Then I began to worry I'd stink, that people
could see the sweat through my shirt - which only made me more nervous.
The doctor who diagnosed me with gynaecomastia and Prostatitis also said
I had slightly high blood pressure. I remember waiting a long time to
see that doctor. While waiting I developed the need to urinate (of
course - this is why I was there), so by the time I got to see the
doctor I was on the verge of walking out desperate to find a public
bathroom. Anyway, between the stess of needing a bathroom and being in
public - I wasn't surprised I had high blood pressure.
Other miscellaneous problems: hemorrhoids. Rarely I'll get an hour or so
of visual distortions where my peripheral vision gets "swimmy" and
sometimes with that a tingly/numb neck. My guess is this stems from
bloodsugar issues. Body odour.
Lastly, frequent depression or feeling overwhelmed later in the day
where I'll say to myself I can't deal with this now, then the next
morning I think to myself 'what was the big deal?'.
I'm writing into here because I really don't feel my medical system can
help me. Every doctor I see wants to diagnose the latest and greatest
buzz-word syndrome or disease it seems. I get 15 minutes of their time
which isn't even enough to present all my information and I get the
distinct impression that unless I have a broken limb, or some other
glaringly obvious, cut-and-dry problem that its beyond them. Doctors
here don't seem to have the time to actually 'diagnose' anything and
instead prefer to just prescribe drugs until one works - thus
identifying the problem.
I'm willing to pay for treatment. I'm considering a natuaralpath.
However I'm not really sure if much of my problems stem from
psychological (ie: constant state of stress from my social anxiety or
somehow the othe way around).
Any advice is appreciated. Sorry this was so long.

Perhaps I should have asked god to help...

Drink at least 12 glasses of water a day. Dark urine is a sign of
dehydration.
Frequent urination can be a sign of kidney problem or bladder but the water
will help with both.
Hemoroids... Stop eating meat (or as much of it if you absolutely can't live
without it). I had developed a fissure that would not heal. I dreaded having
to have surgery. Once I went vegetarian, the problem went away permanently.
The above cannot hurt you and may help.
Also load up on some antioxidents. Vitamin C (at least 1000 mg), grape seed
extract, GAMMA E (not alpha), super green tea extract pill form.
Meditatation can help with the anxiety:

Good luck to you.

Well, I eat dairy. Just - not meat. Occasionally I may have an egg in
something like a casserole but not often. I'm not vegan. But it would seem
that digesting meat is a lot more work on the intestinal tract and leaves a
lot of harmful things behind.
I'm not sure that it is necessarily more healthy to also do without dairy.
If I knew that it was for a fact, then I might try it. This would be very
hard for me personally however since I love milk and cheeses of all kinds. I
can only drink organic milk however as years ago, as they started feeding
the cows more antibiotics and hormones and more trash in their feed, I could
not drink milk without getting sick and a headache. When organic milk became
available, I gave it a try and no problems there. So I can now drink it by
the glass once again.
Why do you ask?
