Can anyone recommend an over the counter headache medication that
doesn't cause liver damage? While not of the migrane type, these
headaches can take 6-8 Ibuprofin tablets to subside (asprin has
minimal effect).

Yeah! Find out the cause of it.
For example, rhinitis causes headache...then you got to keep your house air
clean...
