- Shampoo rec's?
- Posted by Invid-Corg
Does anybody have any experience/suggestions for a shampoo for highlighted
hair that won't be too rough on my face? Thanks.

On your face?
?
I've been using Pave' brand "No Sulfates Allowed" shampoo from
Walgreens. Sulfates cause hair loss and clogged pores, so sulfate-free
shampoo is your best bet. This shampoo lathers up and rinses off nice,
and is very gentle. Best non-SLS shampoo that I've found.

Thanks for your reply. When I said, "on my face" I meant around the
hairline, etc (I don't wash my face with shampoo! Funny).
Anyway, thanks for your product rec, do you know if this is good for hair
with blond highlignts (meaning will shampoo strip out my bleached streaks?)
Thanks.

It's gentle, so I don't think so. I add purple stuff (forget the name)
to all my shampoos, to keep my hair from going brassy, but my highlights
are accidental (from the beach/sun) and so there's no added color to
strip out, so I can't say for sure. But it's very gentle, so I think
it's fine for color treated hair.

Neutragena free and clear and Aveda All Sensitive are good.
