- Re: What are the side effects of accutane?

Everybody is different. Many people don't get worse. If it's a big issue for
you, then ask to get put on a dose that is raised over the first month,
that'll introduce you slowly and lessen the chance of any bad breakouts.
Not a bit. Like I said, healing is the issue. Normal tatoos are done
healing.
No they aren't common at all. If you got a nosebleed it would be a mild one
and probably a one-off, it's not a persistent thing through the course.
There would be no reason to unless they couldn't find a vein (not a heroin
addict I assume?). I've had my blood taken quite a few times and it's always
the inner side of the elbow (whatever it's called).
Alcohol increases triglycerides. Accutane increases triglycerides. Mild
drinking is probably fine as long as your triglycerides are in order. If
you're planning on getting drunk though, I personally wouldn't recommend it.
People have done and been fine, but everyone is different, and I don't want
to play games with my liver.
The muscle pains are nothing much. You might be doing something straining or
exercising and feel a bit sore. Really, it doesn't bother most people.
Here's some very good links work reading:

No of course not, just don't want them to draw blood near my tattoos on my
upper arm, that's all.
When I go on vacation for my 6 weeks I was planning on getting drunk because it
is a vacation and I'd really like to enjoy it. So are you saying that I should
wait until I get back then to begin accutane? Or would I still be able to take
it while on vacation? I guess this is also an important question on wheter or
not I should take accutane now. I mean I really would like to begin accutane
now, but i don't want it to affect the vacation that I"m going on for 6 weeks
by me not being able to get drunk.
Also can take you take accutane while taking Concerta? It's a different
medication, just curious if you can take both of them at the same time. Thank
you so much again for your help.

Sorry, I was joking about the heroin.
If you're going on vacation soon it might be wise to put acctuane off. You
musn't be in the sun a lot with accutane, because you'll burn very easily.
That coupled with the possibility of things getting worse in the first
month, and your restricted alcohol consumption might put a damper on things.
Getting holiday-drunk frequently would NOT be a good thing to do, and it can
actually give people bad hangovers. So perhaps you should start after you
come back? Then again, if you're going away in 1+ months to somewhere not
too hot, it may be worth it to have clearer skin. Your call.
Methylphenidate (Concerta) will be fine with accutane, but of course,
mention it to your doctor as a matter of procedure.
