Biotin to the rescue
Posted by Scarred For Life?

After reading an article in the Miami Herald about the importance of biotin
in carb and fat metabolism, I decided to add it to my vitamin regimen. I
have taken 3 g of pantothenic acid for 8 years, and it really has not been
working for the last year. After adding 1mg biotin twice daily, my oil
production has decreased dramatically, comparable to when I eat carb-free.
If anyone else is having decreased results from p acid after a while, give
biotin a shot. It is pretty cheap at Vitamin Shoppe here in Miami, but if
you order it online, the shipping and handling doesn't make it any cheaper
than a local vitamin shop.

I just picked up a bottle of Biotin at GNC on Friday. I don't remember the
strength, but it cost me $2.99. Neither my multivitamin nor my B-complex
vitamin has much Biotin in it.

How much do you think is necessary? My B complex has 50 micro grams of it.

TIA.
