Here is info from Murray's website:
"To remove the product. Murray's was originally formulated to stay in the
hair, therefore, getting it out may be difficult for some hair types. Use a
strong clarifying shampoo or liquid dishwashing soap and work into dry hair,
slowly add small amounts of water to build foam, as the foam dissipates add
more water, do this a few times prior to rinsing. There are many other ways
which customers have submitted to us including, wash with Coca-Cola, Use a
hair dryer and a fine toothed comb to melt the wax and pull it out. "
good luck,
Joy

try a little section with this....apply WD 40 spray oil on a rag and wipe
the hair with it.....we use it and also peanut butter to remove wax or gum
or crayon from surfaces......have used both in hair to remove things that
may seem impossible to remove......it may have to stay in the hair for a
little time to melt the wax but it should work and not hurt anything...then
it is just a matter of removing the oil from the hair but that will shampoo
out pretty well.......it may take a few times....let me know how it
works.......

Trust a guy to come up with WD40 as a fix-all <g>. Yours was the winning
entry, of course - two nights of "shampooing" with WD-40 and then some
dish soap to get the oil and the smell out, and I'm more or less back to
normal. Thanks a million!
