I colored my hair by kit yesterday and by mistake, put the conditioner in the
mix with the color and developer. My hair came out fine although a bit redd
Does adding the conditioner to the mix instead of using it after coloring
interfere or have any effect on the coloring process?
What's the best shampoo and conditioner to keep my red/brown color from fading.

i've never added conditioner to the mix and applied it to the
hair. but putting conditioner on the hair (prior to adding
colour) can act as a filler so that not as much colour goes into
the hair. it's possible that if you hadn't added the conditioner
to the mix that your hair would be a bit darker.
something for colour-treated hair. i use Redken Color Extend
shampoo and conditioner.

extent. But if you got color, maybe not.
Red's hard to keep but I'm having the best luck with Back To Basics
Marine shampoo, conditioner and spray leave in.

it would dilute the color and slow it's effectiveness but should not do
anything real negative......if you love the color it may be hard to
duplicate next time without doing the same thing...........I am glad it
worked out for you and if it is too red just wait a few days and it will
probably fade
