High End Hair Care...What Do you Like??
I like Redken stuff...the Extreme shampoo and conditioner, the Anti-Snap leave
in, the Quick Treat Spray, Glass and for other products I like Farouk Biosilk
Silk Therapy, been wanting to try Matrix Sleek shampoo/cond in the orange
bottles (any good?) I looove Artec too. I love Coco Bean shampoo and Kiwi
shampoo/conditioner. Haven't found a hairspray I like yet. I don't like a lot
of hold or stiffness, just a little.

So what do y'all like and use?

"I have been using some Redken and Kusco Murphy along with a bit of Artec
and Fekkai for color preservation.
Check out a new line from Davines. Organic line done by Italian chemists
that's actually good for your hair. I had a treatment done a week ago and my
hair has NEVER felt/looked this good!

Oh, goodness, I'm glad you didn't ask what all we had tried
or even *owned.* I'd be here all day! So far, the bottles
that are in the rotation the most are:
*Goldwell Definitions Color & Highlights or Coated & Oily.
I can't tell a difference between the 2.
*Mastey Le Remouvre
*Fred Fekkai Apple Cider.
There are at least 6 or 7 other brands represented in that
vanity cabinet, but they sit lower on the preference scale.
I do keep a bottle of KMS Silker for the cold, dry days of
winter when my hair needs a gentler cleansing. kayper

I alternate between Redken Extreme and All Soft. I use Tigi after party or
Robert Craig's Spray Shine
for shine. My cheap product is Clairol mousse which adds a bit of fullness
so my hair isn't stick straight
and flat. My absolute favorite hairspray is Sebastian Shaper now sold at
grocery stores and drug stores
It is very soft but will keep the stray ends in place.

products that caused breakouts on my scalp.
My stylist owns the shop and carries Redken, Lanza, Tigi and a few other
products. His cousin, who also works there, is
a Redken instructor, traveling around the US teaching other stylists. I
like the new Redken packaging now and the
products smell nice.

X-No-archive: yes

ABBA is my staple, but I also use the Aussie products, Dove
conditioner, Garnier conditioner, ColourVive, and I've tried the
new Lancome hair products.

I adored Herbal Essence until they changed the formula.

Use now - Redken All Soft shampoo, conditioner, hair masque (masque has been
discontinued but I bought 2 tubes when they were discounted)
Used to use - Redken Water Wax, Outshine
Used to use - Matrix Sleek Look Smoothing Cream Lite 3 and Locking Spray 4

Biolage Color Care System - hate, hate, hate it - made my scalp itchy big
time
Back to Basics - Almond Cherry conditioner and some Honey shampoo - didn't
see the big deal
Tigi Self Absorbed shampoo and conditioner - smelled fantastic but broke me
out

I've tried all of those, probably every thing really and I like Frederic
Fekkai the best.

I like the Phyto line of products. I have tried and enjoyed Phytocitrus
shampoo and conditioner, Phytobrush (seems to smooth my hair),Phytodefrisant
straightening balm and their relaxing serum.

I also alternate with Kerastase. I use the line for dry, sensitive hair...it
really adds shine without weighing my hair down. I also love the Oleo Relax
in a pump bottle. I put in through the ends of my hair while it is wet.
Again, body...without weight. Good line.

I also avoid Aveda shampoo and hair stuff,
but primarily only because all of it just
smells so nasty. I came to the same
conclusion with Kiss My Face. Is that your
reason as well? kayper

I have heard very positive consumer feedback on the Nioxin products. Thanks
for posting - good to see others are picking up on this line.

Most of my hair care is TIGI, but which set of things I use depends on
length and condition of my hair at the time. Right now it's After Party
smoothing balm, Catfight moldable pudding, Root Boost, Fast Fixx leave-in
conditioner, Girl Toyz and Manipulator (not all at the same time .
I'm also loving TIGI's Fashionista leave-in, which is also a
heat protectant (it's a new product).

For curl enhancing products I like Fekkai's Wave Spray and to a lesser
extent, Redken's Fresh Curls Curl Boost scrunching spray.

Ironically and despite my devotion to TIGI products (and one of their
creative artists, who does my hair), I don't love any of the shampoos.
I like Rene Furterer Carthame cream shampoo and either Rene Furterer's
hair mask or Phytocitrus hair masks for rinse-out conditioning. I also use
Phyto 9 Leave-in conditioner sometimes in place of a TIGI leave-in.

Stacy (admitted hair care product addict. I haven't even scratched the
surface of my list of products!)
