Hi!
I spent yesterday afternoon at Paris Palais Royal shops,
window-shopping. I wanted to check Shiseido`s perfume store there.
Fumerie Turque its their new scent, and I wanted to check it.
The Shisheido store was closed to what it looked like a private party,
so I plan to come back tomorrow, but the other shops in the Palais
Royal are worth a visit. I loved a shop called Le Petite Robe Noire (
The little black dress) that sells, obviously, black cocktail dresses.
Some are new, from Didier Ludot collection, and some others are
vintage, like a 1948 Jean Desses number. The same people own another
vintage clothing shop, just accross the garden. In this other shop,
there`s stuff from designers like Balmain, YSL, Valentino, Hermes and
Chanel. Wonderful shop.
I also liked a custom jewelry shop called Siki. Huge, colorful
jewels. They looked very expensive.
After all the window-shopping, I headed to Angelina for some
conforting hot chocolate. Angelina (226 Rue Rivoli) is a classic.
It`s kind of expensive, but the chocolate is worth every euro. I had
a chocolate and a croissant to dunk in. My one-year-old son helped me
with the pastry, having little bites of it while doing "yum, yum"
sounds at the same time.
More later.
