What skincare are *you* using?

~Plain old Clearasil Daily Face Wash. It's worked in past pregnancies when
I've had horrible skin. I've only used it twice (last night and this
morning) but so far so good - lol.
~And I'm back to Olay Complete rather than Olay Regenerist Serum. I need
more mositure cos of the harsh acne washes I've been trying I think.
~Occasionally I use Dove toner at night. I really like it, it's not drying
at all, doesn't sting.

Why? Just use another moisturizer.

Hmm...lessee...

Morning:
- BlissLabs Middleweight cleanser and a face brush
- Blisslabs Middleweight Toner
- depending on either my skin that day or what I grab first, Origins
eye cream, St. Ives Q10 cream, or St. Ives Vitamin K Dark Circle
Reducing eye cream
- nearing the end of my stash of St. Ives Retinol... sadly, apparently
no longer available
- sometimes some other moisturizer mixed in with the retinol (I have
lots of little sample jars I've been trying)
- if there's some bitterly cold wind, some of my remaining Origins
Perfect World (I won't get this again - it didn't do enough for me)
- Blisslabs Skin Twin tinted sunblock
- Kiehl's lip balm

Evening:
- either a Dove facial cloth or the same Blisslabs cleanser
- nearing the end of my stash of St. Ives Alpha-Hydroxy moisturizer
(yes, I know I should be doing the alpha-hydroxy in the morning and
the retinol in the evening, but on nights I'm too tired to care, I'd
rather skip the AHAs than the retinol)
- depending on my skin, some more eye cream
- depending on my skin, some more moisturizer
- more Kiehl's lip balm

Occasionally:
- Blisslabs exfoliating task mask (it really did turn out to be $40
worth of great, IMO, and there certainly is an awful lot of it)
- Queen Helene Mint Julep mask (I like this better in summer than
winter)
- Origins charcoal mask
- an aspirin mask
- Origins Spot Remover, when I get a bumpy chin, which is actually
really, really rare now that I've stopped using scrubs on my face and
started using the Blisslabs stuff

But it depends on the state of my skin.

It looks like I'm going to have to get some Olay stuff when my St.
Ives supply runs out. I absolutely refuse to live without retinol,
and I'm really irritated something I loved so much (and used so much
of!) and bought so cheaply is being discontinued.

Fondly,
Faintly McAbre

the MD SKINCARE alpha beta home facial system peel kit

I am really liking this kit. I have repurchased 2-3x. I don't use it
everyday, but everyother or so. Depending on my skin that day. It
really keeps breakouts at bay and has imporved the texture of my skin.
I love how easy it is, only problem is that the last couple pads don't
have as much moisture as the first couple, less product at the end of
the pack.

Yes!!! I have had horrible skin (acne/dish-plate sized pores) since I was
9, and was always satisfied with the decent skin I have when I use
Neutrogena's Oil-free acne wash. With the Clearasil deep pore cream
cleanser, I am boosted up to great skin! For the first time since I cared
about such things! My pores are actually small now, and I will never go
back to Neutrogena, ever!

BTW, I don't really use moisturizer of any kind unless I wear foundation
(which I hardly ever do).

try flipping the container over when you get to the half way mark and also
close it tightly PLUS you might want to split the stack in half and flip
part upside down

Today I did the aspirin mask using aloe as a base instead of Cetaphil. I
didn't really notice a difference.

Isn't the Clinque TT cream an exfoliant? So wouldn't the 1% BHA you're already
using do the same thing?

I bought the Clearsil Total Control Deep Pore Cleanser (or whatever it's
called) too and I really like it--to me it's like the Neutrogena exfoliating
facial scrub which I thought really did have an effect on my skin tone and
pores, but without the horrible side effect of the Neutrogena--if it got
anywhere all near my eyes it hurt like hell. I haven't gone for the Clinque
since I'm not sure it wouldn't make me break out and I thought I'd use my BHA
and AHA lotions as usual in the evenings to the same effect.
