WEDNESDAY... started the day off with our usual Wednesday group
meeting by kicking the plug out of the outlet on our computer, then
off to a meeting where our admin[1] did the same! Our manager
mentioned that employees should not be wearing clothing with
"inappropriate writing"[2] on it. Spent most of the afternoon working
on "housekeeping" type tasks related to change history. For this:

[1] She was wearing capris: I said they were "flood pants... just in
case Claudette comes this way!" LOLing ensued.

[2] Didn't hear WHO wore WHAT, but I heard WHO saw it (Peggy, our 4th
level manager: she was NOT happy!).

FRIDAY.... got the annual review today. Things are much better now,
the workload is down to a dull roar; the only comment is "you haven't
done your time management class." Weather in the afternoon glitched
our (UPS-less) power twice. The first time, I was going from one task
to another -- the second, I was writing a complaint that we lose too
much work when the power glitches. For this, I was pretty much a clone
of Wednesday:
