My dad just passed away on Memorial Day. I've been trying hard not to bring
this up in here. I don't know why.
Anyway, I swear this is true- When I was driving out to my mom's place I got
lost. I came from the secondary airport that I had only flown into once or
twice. At any rate, I heard his voice say, "You want to turn right here." On a
trusting whim, I did and it put me right back on track. I just felt like he was
there through the whole trip. Everyone was consoling my mom and brother but no
one said anything to me at any of the four services. But I felt like he was
there with me and knew how hard I was taking it all.

I lost both my parents during one of the most difficult times in my life. My
husband had lost his job of 18 years in July 1997. We began our own business
then. But, in the end, we lost everything and were homeless.
Daddy died on December 22, 1997, at the age of 62. He was buried on Christmas
Eve. Christmas was daddy's favorite holiday.
Mama died on April 22, 2000 at the age of 62 also. It was the day before
Easter, her favorite holiday. I couldn't attend either of their funerals since
they were over 2000 miles away. But, they have shown that they are still with
me through numerous ways.
Usually when I am the most depressed and missing them so very much, I will get
some sort of sign from them. I also dream of them often and they are always
happy and healthy and aware of what is going on in my life. I have no doubt
that there is life after this one here on earth. No doubt whatsoever.
