Kathy Griffin: From Laughs to Lifts!

Reality vixen and famed comedienne KATHY GRIFFIN will be the host of NBC's
upcoming reality show, "Average Joe," so the fiery-haired TV diva wanted to
glam up for her new small-screen gig!
Kathy came to ET for a little makeover magic, and tonight you're invited to
tune in as she goes through the entire nine procedures -- not all of which
are surgical!
The first issue for Kathy? Taming those wild, wavy tresses at the hip ART
LUNA salon in Hollywood. Hairstylist LINDA CHO straightened Kathy's
rebellious locks using a Japanese method that can take up to five hours and
last around six months. "I'm going to have straighter hair after 50 hours of
chemicals," Kathy joked. "They're going to set it on fire at some point!"
With her beautiful, new, slick mane, Kathy then cruised over to the Maloney
Vision Institute in L.A. for a consultation, where doctor ROBERT MALONEY
corrected her eyesight using the latest in laser technology, called
"Wavefront."
Next up? The plastic surgery offices of Dr. PAUL NASSIF where the comedian
received an indoscopic brow lift.
"I'm going to get a brow lift, which all the 'Friends' have already," she
laughs. "That's when they cut your head open and pull something and put a
flap over here. I don't know what they do! They pull your brain out for a
minute and put in a skillet and they take your eyebrows from here to up
here."
Then, Kathy went to see Dr. DAVID AMRON, where her sensitive skin was
treated to special treatments such as a TCA peel, a mini-facial,
dermaplaning, microdermabrasion and liposuction on her upper arms
"I've got this sort of thing going on, 'Don't be late for the carpool
kids,'" she demonstrates waving her arms.
Finally, it was down to Kathy's smile. She visited the Beverly Hills office
of cosmetic dentist, Dr. KOUROSH MADDAHI, who gave her 20 porcelain veneers
to achieve that perfect smile!
