not much that really stands out one way or the other; i don't think i bought
all that much!

hits:
yves rocher. quick service, excellent products, great bargains and discounts! i
got 13 shower gels and 2 sugar scrubs for 39 bucks after the discounts, plus a
makeup bag, bag o surprise gifts and a body wash and terrycloth duckie.

burt's bees natural insect repellent (don't have it here so i can't check the
name). i think sophie mentioned this one, and i wanted something without deet,
and this works amazingly well! we have a pond and the attendant mosquitoes, so
this spray has come in very handy indeed.

big, big miss:
john frieda beach blonde life preserver. this is a hair oil that you put on
when you're in the sun or at the beach to keep the sun and salt water damage at
bay. well, in the conundrum of all time, how can an oil be so drying?? as soon
as i started using this, my hair started getting crunchy. i'm at the beach
nearly every day, so i noticed the damage immediately. nice smell, but i'm
going back to phytoplage and the redken sun line, both of which leave my
post-beach hair soft and smooth.

Wow, thanks for posting this! I live in Florida and have been mad because
I've forgotten to buy this whenever I go to Walmart lately. Now I just
won't bother. I normally just use Aussie's spray leave in conditioner at
the beach/pool and it keeps my hair nice and soft.. my fascination with new
products was overwhelming my normal 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it'
mentality

I too have really been holding back on buying things...

Hits

Aveda lipstick in Bexia

Physique Strong Contouring gel

Trevor Sorbie Long Hair conditioner, styling cream and intensive treatment
(curly)

Misses

No. 17 cooling foundation (nothing special, this and it doesn't blend so well
over Benzyol Peroxide if I'm using it on blemishes)

Charles Worthington Shine conditioner- This is a nice product but the
packaging is impossible and the smell of the conditioner... well, if you think
Olay's Regenerist is bad, you should try this! It's the strongest "cheap
aftershave" smell I've ever come across. Terrible!

Bummer! I bought this but have yet to try it. I tried it on my dry dry
hands and it was ok.

Now I'm curious and I will most probably try it tomorrow.
