I had mine (only the left foot) done a gazillion years ago. Yes, it can take a
lot of time to recover but again yes, it's well worth it. Mine never grew back
and I've never had a moment's pain since.
Good luck to you! Get a lot of movies and books and magazines to keep you
distracted!
