I so do this with nail polish! My husband laughingly comments that I can
buy the same color nail polish all over the world from many different
merchants over and over again! And he's right! I have so many bottles of
"mauve" that I now limit it. I am doing pretty well at controlling myself.
My husband also says that my nail polish "habit" doesn't bother him because
it could be a whole lot worse! It could be shoes or purses!

Uh...yes, Definitely. Part of it is "discontinuation phobia," fear that The
Perfect Product will disappear forever. In some cases this has happened, and
hoarding was the exact right thing to do. But, after years of this, I've
learned 7 times out of 10 I'm sick of the product by the time it's
discontinued, and love shopping for a new Perfect Product more than using up
my stash.
