i read somewhere about this new kit from Vincent Longo where he puts together wispy demi lashes, invisible glue, black liquid liner and mascara. now, I have no interest in the liner or mascara but the lashes sounded fantastic! Does anyone know where one could get wispy "demi lashes?" I've seen the traditional false lash strips that I used to use in shows but that's way too much for me. Any ideas? Does Mac have something like that? Or does Longo sell the lashes separately?
- Would you dare cut your hair?

I remember one summer when it was just so hot and so humid that I took a pair of scissors and cut my hair really, really short. Of course it didn't come out the way I wanted it to - but it was just a spur of the moment/frustration kind of thing. Rose My Nailbiting Message Board http://members.aol.com/Roseb441702/nailbite.htm
- Pier 1 coupon
- Posted on 01-09-2004 | 2 Comments
Around Christmas, someone on this newsgroup posted a link to a l5% off pier1 coupon. I printed it several times and bought a number of pier 1 items. I don't know where that coupon came from because I never saw it on the web site. Now I'm wondering, does anyone have a link to another pier 1 coupon? I'm getting the urge for some more pier 1 stuff but HATE paying full price (don't we all.......)

I was wondering, has anyone tried those? Which one (there are many)? Any results? I was going to get some today at Target, but there were way too many choices, and I had too little time to study them all. Karen

x-no-archive: yes tomorrow morning I have to go to my doctor for a full physical with bloodwork, etc. he's not certain exactly what's going on with me (definitely lots of stress, but it seems to have many physical manifestations as well), but I'm about to get tested for some fairly serious illnesses and I'm anxious about both the testing and the results. I haven't spoken about this before here because it just didn't seem like a good idea to share it, but I'm so nervous right now I can't stand...

I absolutely LOVE Avedas Rosemary mint hand & body wash, so much so that I'm buying the little 1.7 oz bottles at least once a month. At $25 each it is too expensive for me to continue buying, but I noticed somewhere that Aveda offers a half gallon, maybe one gallon size... how can I get a bottle of this? Thanks! Shaynelle

I went to the P.O. today to mail a package and p/u the one Trilby sent me as part of the Flybaby Fragrance Fling giveaway. As I waited in line to mail my package a staffer collected my notice and brough the Trilby package to me. With nothing to do while I waited in line I opened the the package with my Swiss Army Knife right there. People were probably wondering what in the box was so important. I could see a couple of them looking over my shoulder as I dug through the box trying not to spill...

Nothing! It's 10 to 7PM and still no mail. What we found odd was that the garbage and recylcing services were running on time *yesterday.* I must have missed a town council meeting or something that changed the rules. kayper

Poughkeepsie is where I grew up, but I live in Rochester, NY now. I discovered the MAC counter 2 years ago while visiting my Mom. I was in heaven....it was like seeing a movie star or something... If I lived there now......oh boy!! Keep hoping we'll get a counter sometime/somewhere at one of the 5 malls in the Rochester area! After messing around, making a memory wire bracelet and Christmas napkin rings, I made my first serious necklace. I used alternating black tiger's eye and small gold beads, finishing it off with a gold toggle closure. It turned out really well, IMHO. My next one will be a Celtic pendant scavanged from another necklace and using garnet beads, pewter rondels and some celtic knotwork beads I have ordered. Hope they get here soon!

Umm Let's see. I think it was around April of last year?? My husband enjoyed the Chart House very much, we dined there twice! The Chart House in Scottsdale has not received good reviews so we skip dining there. Hope this restaurant still has enjoyable fish entrees after I suggested it to Stevie! LOL Carol

I think both of these stores an anachronisms from the 60's and 70's (a cafeteria in a mall and a discount store in a mall). Its a wonder that they lasted into the 90's.
