Monster, Mystic River and Lost in Translation.

Awesome, one of the best movies I've ever seen and I don't get the hype,
respectively.

America's Sweethearts - Way off balance (people seemed to be acting in
different movies), but some funny bits in it, especially Christopher Walken.

Tea and Sympathy with Deborah Kerr, an oldie but a goodie.

I saw LOTR 3 on Saturday and definitely enjoyed it. The ending could have
been filmed a bit differently though. I kept thinking it was over, but it
kept going on and on with more and more endings.

I think if Peter Jackson didn't do the black screen fake-out twice, it
wouldn't have been so confusing and drawn-out to all the non-book
fans. Well, this is the 3rd movie of a trilogy and had to tie up all
the loose ends. Also, they did cut out a LOT of the book's many
endings.

Seabiscuit
I liked this movie a lot more than I was expecting to. It's really
about relationships more than horse racing -- in this case, the
relationships between Seabiscuit's owner, trainer, and jockey. It
shows how having the right people (and the right animal) in your life
can make all the difference!

"The House of Sand and Fog". It was depressing but very good nonetheless.

Bend it Like Beckham -- touching and funny, even super macho SO
enjoyed it! My favorite movie of the last month.

Seabiscuit -- fantastic, have wanted to see it since the ads started
running during Kentucky Derby last year, and it really didn't
disappoint. Cried my little eyes out! The relationships were well
done.

The Hulk -- I ask why? SO thought it was great, said how great it was
that they definitely left room for a sequel. My comment was "Why did
they even make this one?" No plot, and everyone whispered throughout,
so you turned up the sound only to be blown out of your seat once
things started blowing up....

He gave his usual spectacular performance. Not having read the book, I
can't say how the movie works as an adaptation but by itself, the movie is
just riveting. I never thought fog could look so beautiful but the scenes
where the house gets hidden by the incoming fog are just WOW!
