While in the main alt.fashion page use the Google bar right on top of
the page.
Make sure you check the box for alt.fashion only where it says "search
only on blah, blah, blah"

about a month) and cant directly or continue the original threads of
very past postings.

i guess thats why there are the "OT" and "REVISITED" posts and even
"split" or two posts of the same identical topic
